Post a letter to the Green Party

An email can be filtered. A letter is opened, logged and put on a desk. This one is written for you, addressed to head office and laid out for one sheet of A4 in black and white. Add your name, print it, sign it and post it.

It is free to send, and it costs them to receive. This is a Freepost address, so you need no stamp and pay nothing. Royal Mail bills the Green Party for every Freepost letter that arrives, so each one you post costs the party money as well as attention.

No printer?

Write it by hand. One line is enough.

A short handwritten note on any paper or a postcard counts just as much. One line is enough. Copy one of these, or put it in your own words, then sign it and add your name and address. Post it to the Freepost address below. No stamp needed, and the party pays to receive it.

  • Shortest

Zionism is not racism. Reverse Motion A105.

  • I am a Zionist, which means I believe Jews have the right to self-determination in their ancestral homeland. Motion A105 calls that racism. Zionism is not racism. Please reverse this motion.

  • Motion A105 brands millions of British Jews as racists for believing Israel has a right to exist. Zionism is not racism. Reverse it, or do not expect my vote.

  • Zionism is not racism. Calling it racism tells Jews our identity is a hate crime. The Green Party must reverse Motion A105 and apologise.

  • You passed Motion A105 saying Zionism is racism. The Equality Act 2010 protects Jews as a race and a religion. Reverse this motion and treat anti-Jewish racism as you would any other.

Still free to send. Address the envelope exactly as shown below, Freepost code first, and drop it in any postbox without a stamp.

Why a letter counts

It gets opened.

Post to a party's registered office is opened and recorded by staff. It cannot be swept into a spam folder.

It shows effort.

A signed letter on paper says you cared enough to print, sign and post it. Parties weigh that.

It adds up.

A sack of letters is a story. Every one you send makes the pile harder to explain away.

It costs them, not you.

Freepost is paid for by the receiver. The Green Party pays Royal Mail for every letter delivered to this address, and you pay nothing.

How to send it

  1. Add your name above and press Print the letter. Plain white A4, black ink.
  2. Write your address on the lines at the top right, and sign above your printed name. A handwritten address and signature make it personal.
  3. Address the envelope to the party. Copy it below, or print a label.
  4. Post it, for free. The address is Freepost, so there is no stamp to buy and nothing to pay. Write the address exactly as shown, Freepost code first, and drop it in any postbox.

Questions

Can I change the wording?

Yes. Press New wording for another version, or print it and add your own words by hand. Your own words carry the most weight.

Should I include my address?

Yes, if you want a reply. Write it by hand on the lines at the top right. Nothing you write is sent to us; the letter exists only on your printer.

Can I post one to my councillor as well?

Yes. The councillors who backed the motion are listed with their councils. Councils publish a postal address for every councillor, usually the town hall.

Do I need a stamp?

No. Freepost means the receiver pays. Royal Mail charges the Green Party for each letter delivered to this address, so sending it is free for you and costs them. Just write the address exactly as shown, starting with the Freepost code, and post it.

I have no printer. What can I send?

A handwritten note or a postcard. See the short examples above. Sign it, add your name and address, and post it to the Freepost address, no stamp needed.

Does it get counted?

We count presses of the print button, nothing more. We cannot see what you print or post.

5 October 2026

Motion A105, "Zionism is Racism", passed on 4 October 2026

To the Green Party and its councillors,

I am a Zionist, so the Green Party says I am a racist. On 4 October 2026 your party passed a motion declaring that Zionism is racism. I am writing to ask you to reverse it, and to explain why.

Zionism is the belief that Jewish people, like other peoples, have the right to national self-determination and a homeland of their own. You can disagree with any Israeli government and still hold it; many Zionists do. If that principle is racist, then the same principle must surely apply to Palestinians seeking national self-determination and a homeland of their own. Your motion does not say that. It supports exactly that for Palestinians while condemning it for Jews. Since the land that pro-Palestinians call for as their own is the exceptionally well-founded democratic State of Israel, that demand is itself racist and colonial. Your motion spells it out in resolution 3: a single Palestinian state "in all of historic Palestine".

Calling Zionism "racism" singles out Jews. No other people is told that wanting a homeland is racism. Jews alone are. By doing so, the Greens have become racist.

This also goes against the Green Party's own rules. The party prohibits racism and discrimination in its core values and in its binding Members' Code of Conduct. The party also has a specific Anti-Bullying and Harassment Policy stating that it prohibits discrimination based on characteristics including race, colour, ethnicity and faith or belief. Jewish people are an ethnic group and Zionism is a belief. The motion discriminates on both. UK law agrees. Jewish people are an ethnic group protected by the Equality Act 2010, and the Equality and Human Rights Commission's 2020 guidance says a party must not discriminate against its members on grounds of race, religion or belief. Your motion goes further and orders that Zionism be "treated as any other form of racism" within the party, which turns words into discipline against Jewish members.

I am asking you, the Green Party and Zack Polanski, to reverse this motion.

Sincerely, [Your name]
